Generic Update

Umm, I gotta update more, but i swear, this place ain't dead.

I'm in this 'dolling race' and I've been spending all my spare time dolling. I've been writing a few sentenced a day, but no 'five-page updates'.

Oh, i've just started chapter six! Since the story's still just begun, i belive this is going to be longer than my last draft!

According to word's word count, i have:

27 Pages,

5,256 Words,

28,423 Characters (including spaces),

850 Lines,

And I've just introduces all but one of the main characers. I'll need to do a blogpost for the characters soon...

Anyway, as i said at psychic ferret, no updates 'till feb. See yous then!

Wolvians

The main baddies of the first book are the wolvians. Apparently they made a trade with the cat-runs to give them their land, and for a few (40 or so) years have been trying to get it back.

I'm gonna be doing drawings of all the wolvians that appear (ten or so) which means lot's of alterations.

Kang and Shanan are two of the wolvians I made, and probably the main wolvians, thus the Evil Duo. Kang is the dumber stronger man, who thinks he can do things he can't, though in the end, he turns out the innocent, correct one. Shanan is psysically weaker, but smarter. Usually the boss of the team when Saltire isn't around. Both were the first proper wolves to be made after the Almighty, and i probably won't be killing them off.

Sniffer is probably the most unique, form, as you can see, his nose. Interestingly, he's the first wolvian to appear and also the first to go, but in his short time has quite a personality. He speaks in a slightly british accent. ("Precistly")

Saltire, next in line for the alpha spot, is the sexy puppy and the only girl. While she really desires to be the leader and stop the rivalry between the Wolvians and the cat-runs, she also cares about her brothers and uncles and will always have prey in mind. She won't be killed off, since she's tecnecally a good guy.

And Mighty, leader of the Wolvians and determand to get their land back. Has a strong rivialry with the cat-run's leader, Gruchiano and will go out of her way to snap at him. She's usually held back by her pack the same way Gruchiano is held back by Cleo. Of the dark element, and strongly belives the existence of The Shadow Stalker. Speaks with a German accent, apparently, this was learnt.

I still need a few more, but most of the wolvians will be killed off by the end and only appear in a few battles. If you have a suggestion, you can catch me via deviantart.

About Cat-Run

Hi there, it's Haley, author of cat-run and creator of this website. You're probably wondering what on earth cat-run is, and if so, I will explain as well as I can in this post.

I first thought up cat-run when I was six, it was originally some sort of pretend video game, but I often found myself thinking more about the cutscenes and storyline more than the actual game. I have a vivid imagination back them, but most of what I had back then was based off other games and such. I had a good fifty or so character, but very few of them remain today.

The story takes place in Olo, a quiet town on a remote island called Adam. Cat-runs are strong, brave and heroic people who fight the wolvians, the evil dogs who live on the other side of Adam and the cat-run's long time rival.

Then Hayley comes in, Hayley is a young kitten who has always wanted to become a cat-run and finally she does, along with her master, Fox. Yet something has always bothered her, and Hayley is determined to find out the true cause of the war, even if it means risking her life. And with the help of her new Friend, Charlie, she sets out into the rainforest to do just that.

The series includes death, religon, war ect but isn't really a very serious story. It's for older children (about 10-15 or something) and not exactly an adult's book.
